Self Care Doesn't Cost a Thing!
We all have those days where we wake up and we just know that it's going to be a tough day mentally. Usually this stems from going to bed worrying about something or being anxious about something that is going on in our life. Sometimes we don't really know why it's a hard mental health day, and that's okay. We all feel this way from time to time. The first thing that I do when I feel this way upon waking in the morning is to take a moment to be grateful for the things that are good in my life. Gratitude can go a long way in helping our mental health. Just the simple fact that I woke up and have been given another day is something to be very grateful for. The next thing that I do is sit down and enjoy a nice strong hot cup of coffee. I love my morning coffee! Once I get going I then go to YouTube, find a nice workout mix and start moving my body. Hearing that music pump through that blue tooth speaker gets me motivated! After a good workout and a nice shower I am ready...
